Hope Lutheran High School is pleased to host the 2026 Southeast Minnesota Junior High Honor Choir. Below you will find information for teachers and families who are interested in participating in this year's honor choir. This event is on January 24, 2026 at Hope Lutheran High School (312 E Broadway St. Winona, MN 55987) with a performance at 4:00P in St. Martin's Sanctuary on the same campus. All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade teachers (home school included) are invited to nominate students for this event. Nominations open October 1st and registration closes January 1st. We hope to see you here!

Do I need to attend with my teacher?
You can attend alone or with your school! In either case, if you are receiving this letter, you have been accepted for this event. It is up to your school’s director if he/she will be chaperoning a group or if your guardian will transport you alone.

Registration begins at 8:00AM in the school and the day will end around 5:00 PM in the church sanctuary.
Is the day open to the public?
Rehearsals are open to the music directors and/or chaperones of the students participating. The 4:00 PM concert is free and open to the public and will be held on the campus of Hope Lutheran High School in St. Martin's Sanctuary.
How much does this event cost?
A $35 registration fee is due January 1st to cover the cost of lunch, music, and t-shirts.
Check (payable to: Hope Lutheran High School) or cash (mail to: Hope Lutheran High School, 312 E Broadway St. Winona, MN 55987) is accepted. Please contact us if this cost is prohibitive. Scholarships are available.
How will I get the music?
Music will be e-mailed or mailed to the addresses given on the registration form after January 1st. Please bring it to the event on the day.
Do I have to be Lutheran to attend?
All are welcome! You do not need to have any sort of religious affiliation to attend this event. The hosting school is Christian and the director will pray and present music through a Biblical lens.
